Privacy Policy

Effective date: November 2, 2026

How Vault Identity Connect handles information across business identities, company workspaces, showcases, enquiries, meetings, and wallet passes.

This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled when you use Vault Identity Connect, including digital business cards, email signatures, product showcases, lead forms, meetings, and wallet passes. When a company uses the platform to collect your information, that company determines its own purposes for using it. Contact that company about its handling of your information; its own privacy notice may also apply.

Information may include account details such as name and email; company and team membership details; business contact details, photographs, logos, websites, and social links you provide; signature and showcase content; uploaded documents; and lead and meeting information submitted by visitors. Authentication, hosting, and connected service providers also process technical information needed to deliver their services, such as IP addresses, browser information, and security logs.

Information is used to operate accounts and workspaces, create and share identities, display published showcases, manage team invitations, capture enquiries, arrange meetings, send service communications, provide usage insights where available, and protect the service. If you use AI-assisted styling, the content submitted to that feature is processed by the AI service to generate suggestions. Do not submit sensitive personal information to that feature.

Publishing a business card, signature, showcase, or sharing link makes the information included in it available to recipients and, where accessible publicly, other visitors. Recipients may forward links, copy details, or retain downloaded content. Company logos uploaded for public display can be accessed by anyone with their image link. Share only information and materials you are authorized to make available.

The service uses Base44 for application hosting, authentication, storage, and related infrastructure. Information is also processed by providers necessary for features you choose, such as email delivery, AI-assisted styling, and Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. A wallet pass contains the selected business identity information and may include a QR code or showcase link. Apple and Google process saved passes under their own terms and privacy policies. Service providers may process information outside your country.

Authentication and application infrastructure may use cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember application settings, and support security. Hosting services may collect operational logs and usage information. Your browser provides controls for cookies and stored data; blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in or other functionality. Where nonessential tracking requires consent under applicable law, it must be subject to the required consent controls.

Information is retained for as long as needed to provide the service and meet applicable legal, security, and operational requirements. Retention depends on the record type and the company managing the workspace. Backups and necessary records may remain after a deletion request. Access controls and other safeguards help protect information, but no online service or transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure. Copies saved by recipients or wallet providers are not removed simply by changing information in the app.

Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of your personal information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a supervisory authority. Update editable profile information in your account. For lead, meeting, or workspace records, contact the company that collected the information or your workspace administrator and request that they route platform-related requests to the service operator. Requests may require identity verification, and legal exceptions may apply.

Vault Identity Connect is intended for professional and business use, not for children under 18. Do not upload government identification numbers, financial account credentials, health records, or other highly sensitive information. If you believe a child has provided personal information, notify the company or workspace administrator responsible for the account so removal can be requested.

This policy may be updated as features or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. For questions about this policy, use your existing contact with Vault Identity Connect or ask your workspace administrator to contact the service operator. If you submitted information through a company’s showcase or booking form, contact that company directly using the business contact details it provides.
